Robert Leslie Burghoff, 45, of The Woodlands was killed in the 1600 block of South Braeswood on Nov. 20. He was studying the virus plaguing cruise ships, police said. Witnesses described the van as white, and wreckage at the scene matched a Ford E-series van, 1997 to 2003 model. The driver was described as a short Hispanic man in his 50s with a slightly rounded face.
