Stress and cell metabolism is a common factor in most diseases and the Budwig protocol deals with these and many more factors. But Budwig's protocol works on several - a partial list: Membrane Structure and Function (key for oxygen utilization) Alleviate Stress - Nutritional Yeast is of Great Value! Add biophotons - some of the value of sunlight (the controller) Normalize Blood (better overall oxygenation) Natural anti-inflammatory Neuropsychological Disturbances Insulin Dysregulation Cardiovascular Disease Autoimmune Diseases More at: http://www.gsdl.com/assessments/fattyacids/appguide/index.html - Stress Relievers - OMEGA 3: http://askbillsardi.com/sdm.asp? pg=news & specific=70 " Researchers in France studied the role of fish oil in dealing with mental stress. " Vitamins: B6 - http://www.chemicalbalance.com/vitamin_b_6.htm Both physical and psycological importance as well as source for D6D - the desaturase that helps convert ALA. SUNLIGHT: - http://www.minotaur.org.uk/webdesign/sites/spectra/daylight/daylight.html or FlaxSeedOil2 the file: Sunlight - Daylight Robbery. doc Chapter 13 " Sunlight has implications for all of these problems. It relaxes the muscles, unclogs the arteries and helps us to cope with life. It soothes the mind and heals the body. It should be an essential part of any stress management programme, or any attempt by individuals or groups to return to health. " EXERCISE: Same Chapter as above " To use a physical example, we all know that exercise is good for us. A run or a workout on a regular basis can make us feel much better. But if we are forced to exercise violently, beyond our capacity, or to exercise when we are already exhausted, then our bodies are likely to suffer. This applies equally to our minds and our nervous system. "
