Do You Have a Leaky Blood-Brain Barrier?

Over 100 years ago, scientists injected blue dye into the blood of animals. All the tissues of the body turned blue, except for the brain and spinal cord. Cells of the capillaries fit together tightly in the brain keeping many substances out.

Nature designed the Blood-Brain Barrier to protect the sensitive cells of the brain. It keeps out many toxic elements, chemicals and drugs, etc., that could disrupt brain function.

A 2-year study led by D. Leszcynski of Finland's Radiation & Nuclear Safety Authority indicates that Cell and Mobile Phones Cause Human Cell Changes - can negatively affect the Blood-Brain Barrier

Cell phone radiation causes increased activity in the proteins of human cells grown in a lab. Leszcynski speculates that, if such activity causes blood vessel cells to shrink, it could create gaps between the cells, making the barrier around the brain easier to penetrate.

This has been referred to as "Leaky Blood-Brain Barrier."

What of dental patients who get mercury fillings, and then use a cell phone!

There’s more: Radiation-induced changes in the cells could also interfere with the normal death process of apoptosis. If cells that are "marked" to die do not,, tumors can form.

Beyond the basic nervous system, this problem has to affect every organ and system of the body. --from Reuters
