Guest guest
The foods PROHIBITED by D'Adamo for one's blood type are more reliable and valid than the recommended foods. Accordingly, I would be SOMEWHAT cautious of the " AVOID " foods for one's blood type (These foods definitely cause problems for many, though not all, people.). Otherwise, my impression is that blood type should only be a small consideration in one's choice of foods and supplements (Wolcott, 2000; http://bloodph.com/research/mtatype.html ). For instance, I would NOT eat red meat just because I was a type O (unless I had a parsympathetic-dominant cancer, such as lymphoma or leukemia). An experienced practitioner told me that the following are the foods that most often cause people problems: Blood Type O's should beware of grains (especially nonsprouted wheat, gluten [also in oats & rye], & corn), kidney & navy beans, white/red potatoes, peanuts, oranges, & dairy Type A's should beware of red meat, pork, wheat, banana, oranges, mango, tomato, & papaya. Type B's should beware of pork, chicken, tomato, peanuts, shellfish, corn, olives, wheat, sunflower & sesame seeds. If I had cancer, I'd avoid almost all these foods anyway (except for olives, papaya, cottage cheese or yogurt mixed w/flax oil, and perhaps the beans; also, I'd eat red meat if I was parasympathetic-dominant).
