Guest guest
I haven't got time to go into details but has anyone considered the possiblility of excessive fluoride exposure? If it wasn't invited by bathing, swimming, showering in or consuming food or beverages prepared with the "F" water in any one of the many fluoridated cities and communities in the Northwestern U.S. now, it certainly can be exacerbated by the possibly fluoride-base medications most MDs prescribe for itches and rashes. Everytime my husband used to go to Seattle on business, he'd come home with some manner of gastrointestinal distress and/or an itch or rash until I talked him into taking his own bottled fluoride-free water for drinking and sticking to only broiled steak and baked potatoe when he ate in a restaurant. He's had no problem since. I have a friend who, after Seattle fluoridated (1970), had to quit staying in hotels and eating in restaurants there because bathing in Seattle's fluoridated water gaver her a rash that would last for days. I don't do drug medicine for the reason that over 50% of it now has a fluoride base. After a fluoride/sucralose food-poisoning experience in Nov. 2002 which was then compounded by three weeks in Dec.of a terrible air inversion during which fluorine/fluoride pollution from a municipal waste incinerator was making everyone sick last year which, according to expensive testing, screwed up my fat metabolism (fluoride is an enzyme poison), I broke out over 40% of my body with a horrible itchy, flaking skin rash that took me the better part of last year to get over but get over it I did; however, I believe my success was in putting my confidence for healing in chemical-free ("organic") food and using only non-toxic (fluoride-free) natural medicine. If this skin rash sufferer is on the level (and is not a "Quackbuster" schill out to entice someone to make statements which can be used to intimidate them with shakedown threats for "practicing medicine without a license") he needs to consider all the variables, including the water quality of where he was last Thanksgiving. Things like what he's allegedly experiencing don't just "happen". They have a cause. The skin is only the largest excretory organ of the entire human body. What's it trying to get rid of that, for whatever reason, is not able to exit via the bowel or urinary tract? Not enough magnesium-containing foods in the diet? Not enough water intake? Not enough fresh, unadulterated raw food in the diet? Fluoride exposure in a fluoride-sensitive indivdual? ---Rose Marie Carol Minnick <carolminnick wrote: Did any one ever answer this question? Guest guest
Thanks for the advice. I have a reverse osmosis water filtration system, but still wash in the water that the community system provides which is so full of chlorine that it reeks of the odor of chloring when you draw it into the bathtub or wash basin. Guest guest
For whatever it is worth, reverse osmosis [the means by which "a liquid, passing through a semi-permeable membrane, migrates from a region of higher concentration to a region of lessor concentation"] is not the best nor most reliable means of insuring that one consumes water free of all contaminants because the longer that filtering membrane is used, the less efficient it becomes. "Open system" distillation or, if one can afford it, one of the high-tech systems [used by the astronauts] wherein it will actually take your urine and clean it so you can redrink that water free of impurities again, are the best. Re. the fact your public water supply is highly chlorinated: do you not know whether it is also fluoridated? Fluoridated systems usually end up having to add more chlorine to the water system as time goes on. Even if it is not artificially fluoridated, some individuals can be highly sensitive to chlorine. I've met several who were allergic to it and had to have their homes plumbed with equipment which purified the water coming into the house so that they could bath in as well as drink and cook with uncontaminated water. O3 (ozone) water purification of a public water supply is far superior to adding chlorine to it but few municipalities use this method because old habits are hard to break (especially when the chlorine equipment and products salesmen are there to maintain their $$$ interests). Chlorine, being a member of the same chemical family (a halogen) as is fluorine, can be absorbed via the skin and, eventually, one can build up a toxic accumulation. ---Rose Marie bikerbillie wrote: Thanks for the advice. Guest guest
We have massive amount of Chlorine in our water also... We are living near Kootenay Lake in British Columbia. Our municipal water system is antique and is just patched regularly. Chlorine flushing gives the Community a sense of security..... I had to put a filter on the showerhead, cutting the chlorine by (I hope) 99%. The showerheas filter is expensive( for me) : around 50.00$CAN. But last for about 6 months. (Replaceable filter...) One such filter would provide you with near/ chlorine/Fluor free water in your bathroom.
