The research, in the British Medical Journal, echoes last year's recommendations by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.The latest research, by Leicester University, involved an analysis of white women in Britain aged over 50, with or without menopausal symptoms, who had used combined HRT for five years.The benefits associated with HRT are said to be the relief of menopausal symptoms, prevention of hip fractures and a decreased risk of colorectal and endometrial cancer.
