Guest guest
Hi Paul, nice to hear of your interest in my work. And i think i envy you for the scientific (which i assume is also a financial and time/space) backup of your work. statistics is always the thing that we lack, because we would have to do it in the free time left(now for example) meant to " undo " and recreate myself. i am just one of four doctors in our ambulance, and even if we are a team and almost friends, our methods and backgrounds are quite different and there is always a pressure to succeed " now " . On one side we (our workteam) are all in a way " freakdoctors " , survivors of our german medical system (and job situation) and on the other hand we do the biggest -the only- drug ambulance in bonn, right in the center on the side of the local " scene " , the " Bonner Loch " , where all the " lost souls " gather. So it all has quite pressing dynamics of its own, which sees me mainly reacting and responding (too often maybe like the badminton player on a rugby field). We are striving for a common concept in our work, but we dont have it yet. So i am somewhat of a pioneer, i introduce the possibility of acupuncture not only to one person but to an undefined subculture of " patients " and the team, where the pro and cons seem to vary from week to week, each experience influencing by mouth-to-mouth a kind of " subculture public opinion " . As im writing this, it comes to mind that, yes thats really true, and how important it is to " publish " a kind of paper, that claryfies what can be expected from acupuncture, and what the necessary conditions are, and most importantly all in a simple " juicy emotional " language because they are not really a reading lot, but more influenced by pictures, emotions and styles,i.e. mainly " effects " . Maybe, i go off on a tangente now, i really would like to read about your conditions, which, as you are part of a university, should give you the quietness of a " controlled space " , good for conscious, structured manouvering (without " collective mood interdependence " ...). i would like to hear from you Dieter
