Guest guest
Hello I sent a message the other day of importance and it appears that I am the only one out there on this site. Please respond if anyone is out there. It is very important that I receive some help from an acupuncturist.

I joined recently because I started having acupuncture and feel that it is really helping me. I don't know if I can be of any help to you, though, as I don't know much about it. Good luck. THANKS I AM LOOKING FOR THAT SPECIAL PERSON TO HELP WITH THE MIRICLE OF MY MOMS RECOVERING FROM THE STROKE IN HER SPINAL COLUMN L4--L5. BLESS YOU, MOIRA Yes, I read your post yesterday. I even answered, but then deleted it before I sent it. The bottom line is this: Acupuncture loves neurological pathologies. The problem is, sitting behind my computer in my living room cannot even come close to the diagnosis and creation of a treatment protocol for your mom. I attended a seminar once by a Korean doctor who worked there in a hospital that deals with strokes exclusively. The first thing that they do is focus on the bowel issues. Get that regulated and then they jump in with the neurological problems, though of course the two are related. The bowel issues might be better addressed with the appropriate herbal remedy. I even did some research in locating the appropriate formula for your mom, looking specifically for one that the author considered appropriate for post stroke conditions. But there were two many variables that I can't anticipate without knowing your mother's situation better. Scalp acupuncture is a commonly used means of treating stroke victims. The needles are inserted superficial in the scalp. The points are chosen to coincide with the area of the brain that is mostly likely responsible for the specific symptoms. But that's for strokes that take place in the brain, not the spinal cord. So, an acupuncturist would have to give some extra thought as to how the point prescription would go on that one. If you would like to contact me personally for some help with an herbal supplement that I can put together for your mother's bowel issues, you can contact me personally.
