Guest guest
I would like to discuss treatments for seizures. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men do nothing.

I assume that you'd like to discuss treatments for humans... but I can share my experience with my dog. He had poor control of his seizures with phenobarbitol, but is now completely seizure-free, (last seizure was exactly 3 years ago, in a couple weeks,) and he's been off of phenobarbitol for about 2 1/2 years now! He has gold bead implants, a permanent form of acupuncture, (a procedure that is not being done for humans, to my knowledge, unfortunately.) Prior to getting the implants, we were able to start reducing the medication, when he was going for acupuncture, but if we went too long in between appointments, he would have a seizure. This is what got me started with learning acupuncture, so I could help him! BTW, he began having seizures as a puppy, and will be 9 years old next month.
