Guest guest
Hi - For frozen shoulder, doing local colon, triple heater and extra points with moxa will begin to open and warm the channels. Also saw in clinic in Beijing points like ST.38 and ST.40 done while having the patient rotate the shoulder to free it. Would work on building yin, dispersing wind and possibly heat as sometimes that is stuck there as well, though usually in my experience this is more a cold condition relieved by warmth. Have found this approach works well in any musculoskeletal chronic injury - it seems the channels get deficient in those areas from overuse. Christine Giannini, L.Ac.
