I am familiar with Hahnemann’s Organon (5th & 6th editions), Chronic Diseases and much of the writing of Kent and other illuminaries of Homeopathy. I am less familiar with TCM at this time, that will change with my continued schooling. My thoughts about integrating them are mostly for case taking, diagnosis, differentiation, Direction Of Cure (a law of homeopathy), the Law of Similiars (another of the fundamental premises of homeopathy). For instance, the one and only reference I have been able to find to date to both homeopathy and TCM is in the TCM appendix of a homeopathy book written by Dr. Luc Du Schepper, MD, who has written on both homeopathy and TCM separately before. His newest book, Hahnemann Revisited, has an appendix in which he explains the fundamentals of TCM to people who are studying homeopathy. He feels that you can use the organ clock and other TCM diagnostic tools to aid in homeopathic prescribing. This appendix is very limited and I feel there is much more from each modality that could aid the other modality. I won’t take up any more time of the list to discuss this specialized interest of mine unless others are interested too. But thanks for the information, and if anyone else knows of any resources for me I would be very appreciative. Christina Denver

Realy don't know... For " diagnosis " and " diferentiation " , one could say that in homeop. it is only one movement - the search of the similimum. The searching for the remedy that will represent the tottality of the patient's patology. I don't see correspondences with acup. here...unless we could " simulate " certain simptoms in a sane person through needling. Is that possible? Now...direction of cure...as you call it, i think that yes. I am inclined to beleive that the ...directions, modalities of cure....may be analogous in both sistems. Maybe it is just a matter of attention towards this issue. Have any acupuncturist seen skin manifestations during or after a successfull " recuperation " ? I wonder.....as i daid, maybe is a matter of being attent to it.
