Guest guest
Hi all! My name is Cecilia and I study TCM/Acupuncture in Sweden, I have followed the disussions on the list regarding different ways of treatments and directions of acupuncture. I am giving acupuncture treatment to friends and other contacts. We make the diagnosis and treatments from the concept of the 5 elements, the six energy levels. We use needles and also the method of using a thicker needle that you heat up with fire so it glows and then quickly touches the skin, both acupuncture points, ashi points ( points that are sensitive in relation to the injury) and distal points. This is not a well known technique so I would like to find out if anyone on this list have come across this techniques before? There are only a few people in sweden that have knowledge of this technique and our school is the only one teaching it in Sweden. Regarding the discussions about finding the acupuncturepoints on the body we have learnt to use the Cun technique and feel them with our fingers, they are often a small " hole " or " lump " that indicates the points. I look forward to have some good discussions on the list and share knowledge with both students and practioners. Cecilia Eriksson

Please give us a small detailed exposition on this diagnosis proceedure....so that we can level our " vision " . Something like: 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, ... ...thanks. How do you " see " the local manifestation in relation to the tottality? How do you deal with the six levels? We use needles and also the method of using a thicker needle that you heat up with fire so it glows and then quickly touches the skin, both acupuncture points, ashi points ( points that are sensitive in relation to the injury) and distal points. In wich situations you use the hot needle? I know it for removal of " warts " . There are only a few people in sweden that have knowledge of this technique and our school is the only one teaching it in Sweden.
