Hello and happy New Year (new to list)

Hello,

I am new to the list so I thought I'd intoduce myself. i am a registered

Massage Therapist in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.

I have 2200 + hours of formal education and I do at least 30 hours of

continuing ed. per year. This is necessary to maintain my membership

with the Massage Therapists Assoc. of Alberta - it also keeps me finding

out new things.

I have always been interested in acu - i have done workshops in Shiatsu

and acupressure, relatively short ones. I am doing a 20 hour acupressure

workshop in the spring.

 

Eventually, I plan to be licensed in acupuncture, we have a great

instructor/practitioner here (in Edmonton), Dr. Steven Aung. he had MDs

from universities in Bejing and Canada. I would love to study uner him

some day, but for now, I will continue running my own Massage Clinic.

 

I look forward to reading comments from this list.
