Guest guest
Geovani, I wouldn't use the point detectors, trust yourself! Only practice makes the master! Another thing, remember the Acupuncture books you gave me a list of? Could you send me that list again (sorreee!). There are a number of people here who are interested. Did you manage to buy some? Can you already make a recommendation? Dagmar ********************************************* Dagmar's free CHINESE MEDICINE NEWSLETTER! Guest guest
Acupoint detectors are very usefull for ear acup. Your knowledge is over all, but on the ear I think they're very importants. Just a simple detector which detects the difference of potential between the skin surrounding and the point you test is enough. You can complicate your life with oscilometers, and maybe is necessary for auriculomedicine (R.A.C.), but I don't use it. Just a simple tester is enough, and necessary. They are very bad for body acup. Muchas gracias por su atención, Thank you very much for all your attention, Josep Carrion. jcarrionterapeuta -----Mensaje original----- De: geovani [inandor] Enviado el: jueves, 17 de febrero de 2000 15:34 Para: acupuncture Asunto: Re: acupuncture point detectors " geovani " <inandor " Dagmar Riley " <dagmar-riley Geovani, I wouldn't use the point detectors, trust yourself! If you find a model from mainland China though and it's too expensive in Brazil, I can check out how much I can get it for here in Beijing. Guest guest
I'd disagree on the ear acupuncture. I've used my old WQ-10C for years for ear points and have found it invaluable in getting the right angle where the point is most active. Also useful diagnostically in the ear. Never use it on body points which can be reached from a wider area and are easily palpated once one accustoms oneself. Guest guest
Dagmar, would you be familiar with Chinese Laser Acupuncture apparatuses and how reliable they are? I'm interested in the pens and full range of equipment. Guest guest
Dagmar How are you doing? I agree about not using all this equipment. Only use my hands, guo-sha tools, needles and moxa. With most of these my hands are my sensing devices. What could be better. By the way, I have a wholesale account with at least one book distributor if you need anything. Regards, Richard A.
