Guest guest
geovani: Yes. I found the " river " that leads to E-36. In fact, I don't know how I didn't find it before. What misled me was the wideness that someone provided ( 2-3 mm). The " river " is 6-10 mm wide - imo. I have confirmed this mesurement in 4 different people. Another thing: If you pull your knees close to your chest, and the feet close to your thigh - sitting position - it seems that E-36 is not only inthe " river " but in a " lake " about 10 mm in diameter, that can be felt 1 tsun from the tibia - following the " river " . I am begining to feel confident that I can get pretty close to the 2-3 mm diameter of this particular point. Anyone can confirm this. Also don't locate St 36 in a knees drawn up position this is not a good position to get an accurate location, legs must be laying down but ok to put a cushion under knees to relax the muscles over St 36, also eases any tension in the lower back, I will repeat that the point itself is only 2 to 3 mm in diameter but the river could be much wider, It is true that the point may feel larger but this is only on the surface and it quickly reduces to 2mm, like a funnel so to speak. Most people are not aware that acupuncture points vary in shape and size, not able to draw example shapes here, A good test to feel the shape of St 36 on yourself is to Moxa the point. And as you move the moxa around the point you will feel when you are located exactly on it and then you will feel the heat penetrate down a long thin hollow tube like sensatiion. Takes a minute or so but you will feel it, be careful not to moxa to long if moxa is not indicated, or will increase the stomach acid, and if this happens you will feel your energy go down. Hope this is useful, Cheers Murray. > > > ------ > Planning a party? iParty.com is your complete source for party planning and > supplies, with everything you need to throw the perfect party! > http://click./1/1635/1/_/331483/_/951066072/ > ------ > >
Guest guest
I agree with you. If you hot needle technique on E-36 you can feel the irradiation along the channel. Besides, if you can feel the qi (with Qigong techniques), when you pass over the point, the energy is higher, and this point varies from one person to another. I use to treat patients from basketball teams, and you can imagine how different are the messures, the cuns, etc. Thanks everybody for the info' on lasers. Someone talked about his practice on Russia. Could you tell me some more about it? Anyone can do it? Is is worth it? Different techniques? Guest guest
The reason that many miss not only this point but many others is the misconception of placing a needle directly into a muscle. Most all points are right at the edge usually between two muscles. There is where the channel/river is located. Whether it be 1 tsun or otherwise from the tibia. Measurements are for convention and what I call triangulation. Of course one must feel the point. Not only the energetics but the anatomical location such as BETWEEN two muscles. I have written a short description on where Lung 5 is 'exactly' located and have verified it's correctness. Even though almost all the books including WHO and the Chinese government have poorly or incompletely described it's location. This incomplete description goes back to the ancient books - also. They were no better when it came to Lung 5. Would anyone care to comment on where they think it is? I am talking about a complete and accurate written description as opposed to what you feel. In books and diagrams this has been written so poorly that a very high percentage of acupuncturists place this point totally out of place. Even totally off the channel flow. What a shame for such an efficacious point. Richard A. Freiberg, LAc, DAc, DOM ------------------- In a message dated 2/21/0 1:12:59 PM, jcarrionterapeuta wrote: <<I agree with you. Guest guest
Hello, it was me talking about Russia. Iwent to Russia nine times between 1992 and 1996. In this period I was involved in six treatment sessions for children that suffer from long term low level radiation disease. The cause of the illness was the Chernobyl accident. I worked for a very small Dutch foundation that sold childrens paintings for funding of this project. We would take children from poluted areas and bring them to beatifull and clean places within the former Sovjet Union. The places we took them are among the most wonderful places in the world, like Lake Baikal and the Black Sea and Kaliningrad. In this healthy environment we would treat them with herbs and acupuncture and in the first few projects also with other holistic methods. As the money declined we could no longer afford the Russian specialists and in the later trips I was the only medical provider coming along. Through mismanagment and burocrasy the funding dried out and the projects stopped. So as to working in Russia now; my network has ceased to be active and you have to find your own place. But is was very rewarding and professionally challenging to do this kind of work. The way I did it with a weak organisation and without pay it was also tiresome and difficult. On the other hand Belarussians are amazing people that are expirienced in achieving the impossible. As for results the projects improved the health of the participants according to tests, personal expirience and the opinion of the children themself. greetings and love Rob Jansenxxx Talk to your friends online with Messenger. http://im.
