Guest guest
Dear geovani, The best way to smotther the moxa stick is to put it in a cup of dry sand or salt so that air cannot fuel the fire. They have special extinguishers ( or something ) that have that same diameter. Don't use water or moist because the rest of the stick becomes useless. Even if you can light it again it is than dangerous because the tip can fall off when hot. An other method is to cut of the tip when finished, this is also used with the hard smokeless moxa. Guest guest
For turning off the moxa sticks: 1) into a glass plenty with rice; 2) With alcohol (easier to burn next); 3) into a water with sand; 4) Do you know the cupping tecnique? The wood chinese cups? So, get a needles envelope (is made of kind of metal) and curl it into the cup, must be tightened. The put the stick into, and it turns off easy. Muchas gracias por su atención, Thank you very much for all your attention, Josep Carrion. jcarrionterapeuta -----Mensaje original-----De: geovani [inandor]Enviado el: domingo, 05 de marzo de 2000 16:58Para: acupuncture Asunto: acupuncture A litlle help.."geovani" <inandor geovani: Which is the best way to turn off a Chines artemisia mosha stick (1 cm diam.)?
