Hello all,

I have a few question for any licensed practitioners.I

have developed a strong interest in acupuncture through my martial

arts training.Such a strong interest that I would like to pursue it

as a career.My questions are:

1.Having no previous college,where do I start

(prerequisites,course study,etc.)?

2.Anyone know of a school in Ohio that even offers TCM?

Thank you,

Ryan Knoch

Check out www.acupuncture.com for statutes and schools in your area.

Unfortunately for you, last July was the line in the sand to be in a

non-accredited school (accredited requires 60 hours of college credit)

and be allowed to sit for the national boards. My advice would be to

get 60 hours in life sciences ASAP meanwhile studying TCM on your own so

as to have a foundation when you enter school. You might want to

identify the school you want to attend and have them help guide you in

the process of choosing the most useful college classes. Christina
