A joke on you.

Don't waste your money unless you want a very cursory look-see at a very

superficial layer of acupuncture. Most of us took/take at least 2700 hours

plus training including class room and clinic. Then there is all the other

time spent practicing besides studying.

Mostly, don't get caught on the claws of the Open International University of Sri Lanka: you will feed them up with your money and that's all.

And you can learn a lot by books and someone whom you could practice.

Dear Richard & Dear JCarrion,

Thanks a lot. As u rightly said these institutions offering one week Diploma courses in Acupuncture are affiliated to the Open Interrnational University of SriLanka. Even in that one week program, they conduct classes only 3 hours per day.

What is more shocking is, one of such institutions offer (in South India) 4 days course and confer the participants with MD(Acu) Degree from the abovesaid University. (Course fee is higher for this than the one week course)
