Guest guest
Josep It is my understanding that the World Health Organization (WHO) has mandated a minimum education for MEDICAL DOCTORS to administer acupuncture at 1500 hours and 2300 hours for Oriental Medicine. In the US....the NCCAOM (only accrediting agency) sets the minimum entry level for acupuncture at 1750 hours and Oriental Medicine at 2150 hours. It may have increased since I last checked but those were the real numbers. You can check the NCCAOM's website and see what's listed. Please post any update you locate. Guest guest
Hi all, In Spain is being debated nowdays about the legal aspects of the TCM and acupuncture. I am a member of this "bureau" to discuss wether to be physician or not, to study TCM alone or as a part of the Western medicine studies. SO PLEASE, I would need all the information you could give me, about how this profession is regulated in your own countries or states, or whatever you could. Thanks a lot to all of you. Josep.
