Guest guest
with regard to your question concerning dermatomes and the relation to organs, I know of no references on the Web. If you are a practitioner, I suggest that you consider " Foundations for Integrative Musculoskeletal Medicine " by Dr. Alon Marcus. It is a wealth of information, worth every penny spent, and the only place I know of where you can find this type of information in one source. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Marcus for a short time in 2000, and he is a brilliant, cutting-edge practitioner who truly integrates East-West medicine. The answers that I have listed here are from that book: AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM Stomach & Duodenum T6-10 Liver & Gallbladder T7-9 (right) Spleen T7-10 (left) Small Intestine T9-10 Appendix & ascending colon T10-L1 Epididymis T10 Kidney T10-L1 SYMPATHETIC INNERVATION OF ORGANS, SHU, AND MU POINTS SYMP SHU/VERT LEVEL MU/DERMATOME Liver T5-10 UB 18; T9 LV 14; T6 GB T5-10 UB 19; T10 GB 24; T7 Spleen T5-11 UB 21; T12 LV 13; T10 Stomach T5-11 UB 21; T12 CV 12; T8 Kidney T10-L2 UB 23; L2 GB 25; T11 Small Intestine T5-12 UB 27, S1 CV 4; T12 Triple Warmer T8-L2 UB 22; L1 CV 5, T11 (adrenal) Remember that the sympathic nervous system is housed in the thoracic spine, and that most organs have innervation from that area. A good basic pictorial anatomy book is " Atlas of Human Anatomy " by Frank Netter. Kay King, DC, FIAMA
