Hi Patricia,

Nice post, and you switched topics. Sort of like playing football,

and now switching to chess and pretending it's the same game.

That's okay, I adapt easily.

And yes, when in full flight or fight or freeze, just about

everything shuts down to one dominent modality (or none, in some

cases)...

....unless you've had stressor training that starts from the

physiology of the " startle response " ...

....when you anchor the new behavior to the specific physiology, the

flight, fight or freeze mode will actually " trigger " the appropiate

behavior.

....then you can build in automatic, specific responses where the

training takes over.

Well known in athletes, in martial arts and in law enforcement.

Read Andrew Salter...or Richard Bandler among a bunch of others.

One of the things I'm quite well known for is training people in

those stressor behaviors.

Again, a nice post.

I'm not sure why Mr. T was in an uproar.

I guess the cooking was not up to the acquired taste, or vice

versa...or maybe it's like the smell of valerian tea which is meant

to sooth, but smells so foul that you got to hold your nose to drink

it down.

For that reason many people that could use it, just flush it down

the comod.
