Glad you enjoyed the little quiz. I did not create it, I just used it!! I do know that several different four, five, or even six elemental or seasonal systems exists from different periods of time, and from different cultures --Chinese, Japanese, India, native American... etc... -- I have not compared them in detail.

By the way, do you think you might get different results on different days? Another interesting experiment might be to have someone or a small group take the test as a reflection of you. Is it possible your self image might be different that how others view you?

On my predominately wood days, I tend to says... who cares what they think! I tend to have a lot of those...

Perhaps, as someone else mentioned, a key is to keep balance in all of the elements will aid in health and healing... Further, using the appropriate element, in the appropriate situation(s) to affect the quickest change or influence / reaction in the target person(s)... or not.

Personality tests are interesting. I know that people can change their

Myer-Briggs (Jungian-based personality test) Type over time. (according

to a shrink friend...)

I wonder if the element type also changes if one is an 'introvert' type

or and 'extrovert' type - in a similar way to the Myer-Briggs - which

is foundationally based on introvert and extrovert.

For example, an introverted Fire type may become a writer, while an

extroverted Fire type may become an performer. Or, an introverted Wood

type would become a craftsperson, and an extroverted Wood type would

become a real estate developer ...

Yes! I think we all have a few personalities inside. I have an " inner

Lee Marvin " (as I fondly call him....) --a grumbling, stubborn old

bugger. He's got a good b.s. sniffer, so he's good to keep around :) I

guess he's an introverted wood-type!

Yes - and I think the introvert/extrovert bit is important too. I know

I 'hold on' to energy and have to flush and/or consciously allow energy

to pass through me. I would imagine that extroverts might have to learn

to internalize some energy - to center themselves....

Thanks for these comments, Greg
