Okay, Sonia, nice. My question is, " how do you do it? " How do you verifiably and routinely enter into that silence? There is an easily learned way. Do you want to hear it? Ps. Do any of you OLD TIMERS want to jump in and give Sonia the formula? Have fun.

Guest guest
Be Still I hear this underlying problem in so many of the posts. When I developed my own healing crisis, I know it was because I didn't listen when "instructed" to be still. I finally felt like a large hand reached down and applied pressure to me to make me stop moving, struggling. Call it high bed gravity, call it illness, call it being called by Spirit, it was time to be still. And I heard the words spoken aloud, as well. "Be still and listen. Stop struggling." For me, the best way to do this is to get away from home so I can't be interrupted by the daily have-tos. But, back in reality, I have a chair that is MY space, where I can think, meditate, connect. I also have a let-it-be-tree I can lean against outside. I plant my feet, get grounded, feel the sun, breathe the air, feel the breeze, and, with this particular tree-- which is a cypress--I can sway in rhythm with nature just by leaning and being. I find I experience synesthesia and colored light shows with my eyes shut. And what is really cool is, I can do this in my mind any time I want. There are more places I go, but you get the idea. Hi Sue, Actually it was probably because you THEN did not know how to be still... ....you just THOUGHT you knew (NOT an attack, but an observation)... ....just like the poor woman who did the original post, has no clue what she's talking about, but she really thinks she does... And I normally just ignore that meaningless type of a post because some people actually hallucinate it actually means something... And there is an easily learnable method, that is virtually verifiable by anyone. Oh well. I just we need those ramblers don't we... Ps. I thank God for the people who know how to teach those secrets and for teaching them to me many many years ago. And I've loved teaching them to all the ones I've taught over the past 32+ years. Absolutely true, doc, and it's still something I must be aware of. I spent my whole early life ov overdrive. Get up in the morning, do whatever it takes to be awake, go full speed until you drop, repeat ad nauseam. There are many different levels to answer most of the questions in this group. Until I could stop, be, awaken instead of only being in more or less a state of consciousness medically speaking, I could not let go of the fear of what might happen if I entered silence. www.coachdrgridley.com
Guest guest
> I couldnot let go of the fear of what might happen if I entered silence. -- Good insight Coach: This brings attention to the most imortant point in any change or healing. First deal with any secondary benefit that the current behaviour fulfills. One can't lose weight, for instance, until the need for a "fat shield" is dealt with. Entering the stillnesss is a perfect example. Many have a fear of what they'll find. Bandler's first question to problem drinkers is, "If you don't drink, What will you do? A spin from that could be applied in most cases of impasse; "If you weren't afraid of the silence what would you find? "If you were slim, what would change for you?" etc. rusty - coachdrgridley Sunday, May 01, 2005 9:24 PM Re: Re: The REAL SECRETS of entering into the SILENCE and using it!
