Guest guest
It means that the description, the words, of the drill are NOT the drill at all. The student needs to EXPERIENCE the drill as the creator of the drill intended. Incorporate it into themself, become the drill, feel it, see it, smell it, taste it, hear it..... My twist on it anyway. Lori healingenergies- essentialskills , " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001> wrote: > , " Rev. When I do a drill the first time, I'm probably going to do some part of it wrong. Without someone there to give me feedback about what I did wrong and what I did right, that mistake will often go un-corrected. Then I move on, either doing the drill in a less-than-effective way, or dropping it because " it doesn't work " . That gives me a false and limiting belief about the drill, which limits the techniques in my " toolbox " . Having that verification process gives me immediate feedback, which gives me confidence that what I'm doing is correct. That allows me to continue honing my skills, and I can move on to the " how else can I use this " phase of learning. Thanks, Vince.
