Guest guest
I have a proposal in to the Energy Medicine Institute to put together some suggested strategies for those who would like to Teach Energy Medicine to others, (as opposed to those who are body workers etc and offering individualized healing sessions, who are healing but not teaching groups). If you are interested in contributing any of your marketing ideas and strategies that would help others, ranging from what space you use to how you found a student group, curriculum you have developed or use, etc etc I would love to hear from you. If you send me a brief email I will send you some questions, etc. within a few days and we'll see what treasures we come up with. Please feel free to re-post this to other groups and forward to others. I am at esyoga at charter.net. take care! Patricia Burke

Guest guest
Hey Pat, I could probably share a few pointers, on the subject..But not for long! I've been teaching energy for a couple years now, without offering one-on-one sessions with folks, but all of that is going to change. After I get back from Miami, Im going to start on that path of seeing more folks in a one-on-one setting AND im also going through the steps to becoming a licensed massage therapist. But teaching is really 20 times better, in my opinion. In a one on one setting, people have to pretty much be highly motivated, to do their drills regularly. I found that in a larger study group of folks, having 5 to 10 Success stories, week after week, month after month, really helps inspire those that weren't highly motivated, until seeing the wide variety of friends of theirs feeling better and, instinctually, they don't want to be left behind and they want to belong, so more folks end up really supporting one another in funny ways. And I for one, for now, prefer seeing 120 folks all in the same 2 hours and let them do homework on themselves...so I can spend the other 118 hours, going the beach, taking a nap, reading a good book, going on vacations, practicing all the time...etc...etc. Richard.
