You may have to look in the Gnostic Gospels or other apocryphal sources to find

them. The Bible has been edited, re-edited, rewritten, updated, changed to make

it "easier" to understand, etc, so many times that you need to look back to original

sources. If you Google Elaine Pagels, an scholar who reads and translates from

the original ancient languages, you will probably also find references to other

such scholars, all of whom may give you leads. Pagels wrote, among other things:

The Gnostic Gospels and Nag Hammadi (about writings of the Dead Sea Scrolls).
