Calibrating emails is one of the EASIEST drills you can do, because you can

actually print the email out and take notes on it. Whereas in a conversation,

you would have to record it, transcribe it, and then take notes.

You can get all kinds of really neat and useful information about someone from

emails. And then when you talk with them in person, they are amazed at how much

you have in common.

I remember the first time I went to one of Doc's seminars. He taught us some

calibration drills, so I went and took notes on some emails from a chick I

hadn't even met yet, and when we talked on the phone, I used her meta programs,

her way of thinking, and she was so happy that we connected so well even though

we had just started talking with each other.

I used to go through personal ads and take notes on them, just for fun.

I suggest you do it from a frame of geniune interest in the other person, as a

way to find out something fun and interesting about them. It IS fun to rip

someone to shreds, but you can always switch gears later and shred someone if

you want to, however the habit of finding out how people think can be one of the

most rewarding skills you will ever learn, whether you consider yourself a

" healer " or not.

Have fun!

Oh, and if you would like some help with that, Doc has some AWESOME videos on

Speed Reading The Opposition, which shows you how to spot people's meta

programs. He breaks it down with examples, energy testing, language patterns,

etc. A really awesome video set on how to understand other people.

I don't recall the price. Call Jonnie at the office, and she can tell you.

One of the guys mentioned caliobrating for emails....interesting

thought....never thunk of calibrating emails nor really identified the

need for calibrating for different things. Putting things in those

terms gets the wheels running.
