Guest guest
Hey All, My computer's been in the hospital getting some new transplants and parts, and I realize, reviewing the past couple weeks worth of posts, have been really awesome. Elvis did lots of great things. But he reminds me of a Tiger of Talent, who only thinks of himself as a tiny kitten. and becuase of his personality and success, it attracted folks who learned how to manipulate him, control him and use him. And having the official title the being the " King of Knot Bean AtCoss " he was able to spend Millions in Paying Off Doctors, Friends, Employees and even the U.S. President, so he could enjoy his illusions of " staying high " on life instead of enjoying the fruits of his esteem. President Nixon gave Elvis an official DEA Badge while he still high on drugs. Many of you, know more details of Elvis, but Im curious why the most famous man in history, who helped activate Billions of folks Strange flows, and put so high on the pedestal of idols, that folks think he is the greatest man in history? Unwillingness to mature and wanting to stay 21, all the time. Sex symbols worst fear is that of age and growing old. So what things could one take from this, to apply to make you the true king of Empowerment? and whatever your answer, it makes you think what lessons were learned for students like, Madonna, Johnny Cash, Barbara Streisend, Eminem, Prince, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, the Beatles, Dolly Parton, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, and more. But these folks are just regular folks, like you and me, right? So if Elvis was one of your students, what would you do to help him to help himself? Sick in Body, Sick in Soul CHeck out ABC tonight his Story will be Told Richard p.s. oddly Elvis, the King of Rock N Roll died on the toilet, trying to flush his system out. > >

Richard, Since he would be my student and I already had rapport, etc. The 1st, did I say first, thing I would do is help him neutralize his primes. Then after that experience we would see what other tools he needed to gain freedom emotional, physically, mentally, socially, etc. Then we would determine ways to raise the level of <a href= " http://achieve-your-potential.com/oneness-and-duality.html " >emotional and spiritual freedom</a> he was enjoying to the highest possible level. Guest guest
Hi Richard, good to have you and your computer back! I guess I would work on his deepest fears with EFT, work the drugs habit with EFT, combining the whole shebang with David's PR techniques. I guess I would probably like to look at his grids too..... What do you think? - " Richard Cinta " <richardc Wednesday, May 11, 2005 10:24 PM King of Denial Dies on Throne > Hey All, > > My computer's been in the hospital getting some new transplants and > parts, and I realize, reviewing the past couple weeks worth of posts, > have been really awesome. > > Elvis did lots of great things. His Wife. His 9 year old daughter, (at the time) and 10 close friends and employees that he trusted and were his Memphis Mafia entourage. Over a period of 15 years, they all told him to seek help. he ignored them. One of his closest and oldest friends and bodyguard, had the courage to do an intervention and talked to Elvis for 4 to 5 hours. Elvis response: when he woke up the next morning, he pulled out a gun and aimed it at the fellow and said something like " i Never want to here that again. Your Gone! " and he had to leave out of that rat pack. So, if you knew that one man could really impact Billions and Billions of folks....what would your FIRST next step be? Richard. p.s. Im leaving in a few minutes to drive up to Dallas, Texas to see Steve Andreas for the weekend. So my response may be delayed til next week. > >Cris >- > " Richard Cinta " <richardc > >Wednesday, May 11, 2005 10:24 PM > King of Denial Dies on Throne > > > > >>Hey All, >> >>My computer's been in the hospital getting some new transplants and >>parts, and I realize, reviewing the past couple weeks worth of posts, >>have been really awesome. >> >>Elvis did lots of great things. Values elicitation and then installing the distinction that it's feelings, not things, that are important. Which basically will put him at cause, because the whole game now is about dealing with his own feelings first and external circumstances second, rather than the other way around. It's pretty simple to do - just give him a drill of writing for 15 minutes non-stop on paper a list of all the things he wants to have, be and do in the future and then taking each one and asking 'What's important to you about that? What does it give you?' Can usually boil it down to half a dozen core values. Then you have the fun of trying to resolve any conflicts that turn up - like people whose top value is security and whose second value is freedom. Guest guest
Hi Phil. I don't know about freedom, but when someone gives " security " as a value, it is an away from, so it is not their top value, even if they are not aware of what their top value is. Keep digging until you start getting " towards " answers for their values, because the away from doesn't tell you what they value / what they want, only what they are afraid of or moving away from. So " What does security give you? " Or " What's important to you about security? " And it might be that freedom is the next one in line, " So ok, yeah freedom is a big one for me too. And once you know you are free, what does that allow you to have / experience? " Might be that freedom is the highest one up. I don't know. At the moment, if someone told me their two top values were security and freedom, I would be inclined to think of both of those as " away froms " . Shit. So if one of MY top ones is " freedom " ...What do I mean by that? The feeling I get when the flag is blowing in the wind, fireworks light up the sky, and the National Anthem is playing? Or do I mean some " away from " ? Or do I mean something else? I guess it's time for me to sit down and think about what's important to me about freedom. LOL Thanks for the post. BTW, the reference on security being an away from and to keep going until you find their towards criteria / values is from the Biodata materials. Do you have that book? If so, sitting down and writing out the patterns and the indicators will be a very valuable and rewarding drill. I'm not finished yet, but I do have a notebook I'm working on, and I make sure I write the patterns in contexts that are important to me, so it's more fun and easier for me to learn the patterns. Thanks again for the post; hope to see you again soon! Jim phillipmattingly <phil May 12, 2005 3:49 PM Re: King of Denial Dies on Throne Can usually boil it down to half a dozen core values. Which biodata book is that? " Words That Change Minds " ? " Figuring Out People " ? Once I get around to doing the biodata pattern drills (#%$-ing PRs), here's what I'm gonna do: 1. Identify a skill that I've studied and learned; 2. Identify the " master keys " to that skill; 3. Explain the master keys for each different biodata pattern I'm practicing; and 4. Put all those explanations into one post/article/chapter/information product. Because then, as a reward for the practice I did, I'll have at _least_ a first draft of an information product that a lot of people would benefit from and pay good money for. If you did something along these lines, I would love to see what you end up with, because I know how good your writing is, and I know it would kick ass. --David Brandt
