Guest guest
Hi, I agree, that does work very well. I am very choosy. I started doing that a few years ago when I quit my job working for a huge international corporation where I saw myself disappearing into the abyss, and got into high tech consulting work working for those who I REALLY wanted to do business with. One of my primary goals, in addition to more money, was that I wanted really interesting and challenging projects to work on. First consulting job I took I asked for what I thought might be a really exhorbitant fee, but said to myself, what the hell it's what I really want. The customer signed me on. They liked me and my work, and I got a lot of repeat business with that customer who in turn referred me to others and so on. I make a lot more than others in my field now, and always have more than enough customers lined up, plus have more flexibility with my time.
