Now, if I won, then gambling would be moral. Right? Or, if I win, then it's immoral? Now I'm confused. Now I thought card playing was a game of skill? So if it's a game of skill does that mean it is moral? Or, is it the losing of money that is immoral? Or, is it the making of money that is immoral? Well if it's the losing of money, then I should never buy a new car... Well if it's the making of money, then I should never write a new book, or produce a new product... Shit, I'm screwed everywhere I turn. According to some nitwit, anything anyone else does in immoral. So fxxk them! Right Vince. Read Harry Brown, " How I found Freedom in an Unfree World! " , and get off the guilt trips other cretins attempt to take you to. Many people are only repeating the offal that was preached to them about morals and immorality. It's a sin to fart in public. Or, is it a sin to fart a smelly fart in public? Or, is it a sin to fart down wind of a preacher? Or, is it a sin to pretend to fart in public? Oops. There I go " missing the mark again " . Which is a sin. There I go again, having fun, which also must be a sin. If he grins, then he sins, right? Unconscious Filters, morals and farting in the wind! Guest guest
- > Yes, Gambling must be immoral, because I never win. [lots snipped] Thanks for the laughs, Doc! >Shit, I'm screwed everywhere I turn. According to some nitwit, > anything anyone else does in immoral. I understand only one morality - and I fully admit it that it's incomplete and has holes in it... That any VOLUNTARY interaction with others is OK. Any ENFORCED or UNWILLING interaction with others isn't. As I said, there are holes in this argument and I have no solution to them! But it does imply that gambling is perfectly " moral " from an ethical standpoint, as long as there is no fraud involved. However, from the gambler's perspective, it may be " immoral " in that he's hurting himself. But that's his choice. > If he grins, then he sins, right?
