Hi Robin, I was just going to ignore the poor Little Abner fellow,

because talking to him is like expecting your canary to understand

how to fry eggs...

....but what the Hell.

Maybe the rest of the group will find it interesting;-)

It's happened.

It was NOT immoral. It was personal.

I just " took care of business " and I went hunting.

When I was done, he went away, and never came back.

or

It's been attempted.

And they were/are both WELL TRAINED in self-defense, and " kill

skills " .

It was NOT immoral, it was " life " . The bad guys were hurt MUCH WORSE

than either of them were.

My wife, then my girl friend did FIGHT BACK, and the rapist went

away. I then found the asshole and taught him another lesson, a

lesson way beyond what he'd gotten from Lynn. He was an ex-state

patrolman that got the shit kicked out of him.

Sort of like you kick the shit out of the dog that shits on your

carpet.

NOT immoral.

The dog just didn't know better. So he was educated by me, and by my

wife.

I was at a Shriner's convention one time, and this fat drunk

attempted to pick up my wife. I was about 15 feet away, talking with

another Shriner.

The Shriner said, " Hay Doc, it looks like ED is attempting to hit on

your wife, aren't you going to do anything? "

" Nope ED, she's a big girl, can take care of herself, and she don't

need my help for something stupid like this. She can easily take

care of assholes like him " , and she did.

My only question is, " why do you think that others need ANYONE ELSE

to take care of them? " Is it that FEAR FACTOR that causes you to

define those parts of life as IMMORAL or MORAL?

Get over it!

You, sir,

> > would think it immoral if someone sexually molested your child,

Well, that's not immoral either. In fact I've a brother in-law that

was sexually abused when he was 12 years old. The man that did it

was NOT arrested, but he did disappear off the face of this planet.

And no one missed him. And the 12 year old kid was very very happy.

And the father really did love his kid, and the kid was NOT capable

of taking care of that situation without some parental guidance.

Sometimes when the dog shits in the yard, you just get a shovel and

get rid of the shit. Why? Because it smells up the yard, and if you

don't like that smell, you don't need to put up with it.

You have trouble with definitions.

I just " get shit done " . GSD.

Hi Doc, I'm laughing my a-- off and loving your responses to

the " immoral " thread.

It's times like this that I think some people live really sheltered

lives and don't get out to see the world much.

Anyway, some of the things that happened to you, your friend, wife,

family were almost everyday occurences where I grew up. Isn't life

just jolly and grand sometimes?

As a result I developed some personal morals that were suitable for

survivial in THAT kind of environment and they worked well for me and

my family and my friends and serve me well even today even though

I've ammended a few over time..

And though I'm not likely to be mistaken for a caring and nurturing

Earth element, I have a lot of other great and endearing qualities.

My friends and family all like me a lot, even though I sometimes do

tell a little fib about the outfit they're wearing or their new hair

style, or that fruitcake they baked specially for me that I just

tasted :-)

And I've never been a " criminal " according to our society's

definition of a criminal, even though that apartment I rented in

college was getting free cable and I just happened to move in and it

was there so I just enjoyed it even though I knew it probably

was " rigged up " by the previous tenents and I probably should be

paying for it and I wasn't getting a bill, so what the hell, enjoy!

And people still want to hire me for all kinds of cool stuff and pay

me really nicely even though I didn't pay for that cable back then.

And gosh, I even play the lottery...! But only when it gets up to

$70 Million or higher, and Oh dear...I forgot...I Remote View!...

I " see " things, energy fields and auras, and chakras! And I just

unzipped his energy field! Oh! Oh Gosh, some people think that's

soooo immoral. I'd better not tell them! They'll shun me.... make

sideways looks at me...

Once some a--hole, supposedly a friend, decided that he " liked " me a

lot more than I liked him...and actually TRIED to sexually assault

me. He reached for a weapon, while he was reaching I kicked him hard

in the face, something he definitely wasn't expecting...awww poor

thing...I hurt him so badly... gosh is that immoral or what?! I was

dating a cop at the time who gave that " friend " some added

misery...was that cop being immoral? I certainly didn't think so.

My husband, in self defense, pulled his legally permitted, loaded,

concealed weapon on a road-rager who was determined to " do him in " a

few years back. Was he immoral for pulling his gun on him? The cops

didn't think so. They investigated, they smiled, they told him " Have

a nice day sir " . And some people think that just HAVING a gun is

immoral.

Morals. It's quite simple for ME.

Lori

Having fun with HER morals....:-)))
