He left both this group and the Huna group. He could not put up with your questions. And he was a smart fellow with many good thoughts and questions. He just couldn't take Wood questions aimed at his opinions. It's so funny that some people, normally Earth elements, think that being asked a question about verification is a form of abuse. His loss. Nice posts Jim and Lori. ps. If someone does not like our attitudes along with our EXPERTISE, they are brain dead!
Guest guest
And the thing is, I am a " nuclear engineer " and there was a knee-jerk reaction to that, and I knew that would happen, because people have preconceptions and they generalize, and see only what they want to see when they read something----or what the writer intends them to see to make a point ;-) I don't blow things up or build nuclear reactors...nor do I want to, never even been remotely involved in that aspect of the work. What I do is enviromental nuclear engineering. I'm involved in the clean up and disposal of nuclear waste. People are needed who understand the radioactive aspects of these materials so that we can safely deal with them, safely dispose of them. I'm doing something to solve those problems and clean it up. I've also been involved in research for beneficial radioactive isotopes that are used for medical applications like medical imaging, cancer treatments, etc... and until someone finds something better--- like mainstream energy medicine?--there will continue to be a demand for these beneficial radioisotopes, and I wonder how many people out there know of someone who's benefitted from these kinds of applications. For some people, even though it may have some shortcomings, radiation therapy has been their only hope. To a lot of people who generalize and can't think outside the box, there's always going to be a knee jerk reaction to " nuclear engineer " . What matters is that I know what I do is not to hurt, but is for good. Glad the whiners aren't on the list anymore Doc. Thanks! Guest guest
Lori - It's interesting that both your vocation and avocation involve dispersing 'bad energy'. That's pretty cool. Guest guest
Hi Helen, That's neat I hadn't thought of it that way! We are Energy Warriors aren't we?...all of us here on this list... and our mission is to disperse 'bad energy'. Cool, I like it! Guest guest
Lori, Helen, Interesting belief... good vs bad energy. Just energy. Could be blocked or pooled, but it is all energy. We just need to keep the flow moving and transmuting in to USEFUL manifestations... right? Guest guest
Yep, I agree, that's why I put 'bad energy' it in quotes.... Guest guest
Hi Greg, all, I'm probably going to be stepping on eggshells with all the Qigong, ChiKung, Kigong, KiGung and so forth afficionados, gurus and experts on this list... it's interesting how the art of keeping energy moving where one wants it, seems to be foundation of a lot of Martial Arts disciplines...which is why I thought of the term " Energy Warrior " . OK I'll just stand back and watch out for the eggs now :-) Lori Who's admittedly a ChiKung, et.al, want-ta-be. , " darthon4 " <darthon4> wrote: > > Yep, I agree, that's why I put 'bad energy' it in quotes.... > > Lori > > , " Gregory " > <gdradke> wrote: > > > > Lori, Helen, > > > > Interesting belief... good vs bad energy.
