Guest guest
I got surprising news today. A friend of mine had a " nervous breakdown " last week and has spent several days in the hospital so far. You always hear about the Holidays being one of the more stressful times of the year for people.... I hear the term nervous breakdown used, but I admit I don't know exactly what it means and haven't encountered anyone who has had one before. What I gathered after looking up " nervous breakdown " is that it's kind of a catchall term and means a person was overloaded with stress to a " breaking point " and they need rest..lots of it. Their body's way of telling them to stop NOW and take it easy. Maybe that's simplistic? It sounds serious since they're going to be in the hospital for a few more weeks. I'm just glad to know they're under care right now and recovering. So I was just thinking, in light of this and from an energy medicine standpoint, is there anything that can be done to keep this sort of thing from happening and that can help someone after it does? Things they could do for themselves. I was thinking holding the forehead neurovasculars, the daily energy routine, the TW sedating/normalizing exercises would be good help for anyone dealing with a lot of stress. Also IDD, EFT, etc.. Ideas? Thanks, Lori
