So, for some people, the tip of the tongue can be on the lower teeth, AND... ....THE MIDDLE PART OF THE TONGUE is still connecting with the palete. The connection between Governing and Central meridians is STILL THERE. This is on the INHALATION ONLY, and it is different on the exhalation. Breathing IN through the nostrials is one of the key components of Chi Breathing. Now, how do you want to use the breath? For hitting? For blocking? For healing? For, blab, blab, blab? Dr John M. Some people, like me, also have a slight overbite so my lower front teeth and my tongue are actually in contact with my roof when my jaws are together. Lowering the jaw really helps if my objective is to keep the tongue away from my roof, for instance, as was suggested for relaxing deeper while at level(alpha/theta). > The connection between Governing and Central meridians is STILL THERE. > > This is on the INHALATION ONLY, and it is different on the exhalation. > > Breathing IN through the nostrials is one of the key components of Chi > Breathing. > > Now, how do you want to use the breath? > > For hitting? > > For blocking? > > For healing? I'd like to do all of the above. > For, blab, blab, blab? How about for going to level? I don't do any special type of breathing while at level, just a normal relaxed inhale-exhale. If I need to relax more I've been dropping the tongue/jaw. Thanks, Lori > Dr John M. La Tourrette >
Guest guest
Hi! The breathing rhytms for different uses are taught in the courses " Mind Magic 101 " and " How to increase your vital force " by Doc. You can even learn how to design breathing exercises for any occasion! For hitting it is in his reports on bamboo breathing and the Ki training for martial arts videos. Some of it is covered in Glover's book, but it is really expanded in those ourses by Doc. They should be the first ones everyone here gets if they're serious... Also, they were the among first released videos to be made on the subject by Doc, so many things build up from there. THe first were on Ki training for marital arts and such. Sincerely, Juan M. Guest guest
Hi Juan! Thanks for mentioning this. Just a few months ago I got that huge course containing all those videos...including the Mind Magic 101, Increase your vital force.., etc., etc.., the manuals on breathing, etc... I went through everything once at a fairly fast pace, took notes. I wanted the grand overview for starters since I was new to Doc's stuff. I loved it. I especially remember one of the exercises I followed along with. It worked so well for increasing my mana that I didn't think the pendulum was going to stop spinning when I tested my charge. I finally just stopped the charge test because I was getting tired of holding the pendulum. Anyway, now I've just started going back through the whole course a second time at a much more leisurely pace, taking lots of notes and transcriptions, practice of exercises.... I'll be keeping your suggestions in mind while I go back through it all. Thanks, Lori , " Juan M. Yes, Thank you Juan, those are VERY IMPORTANT DVD'S. Those DVD's not only give you what to do with BREATH CONTROL, but they give you the real formula BEHIND BREATH CONTROL so that you can tailor make your own breathing skills for anything you wish.
