Don't reverse it. If it's blocked you can back flush it one time and then forward flush it 3 times. I don't think it's blocks. What is probably one of the problems is that both liver and gall bladder are over energized. So all you need to do is hold the sedating points and they will normalize. You can also check the liver alarm points and test for if they are in overdrive. If they are, just twist and turn and they will normalize. > if energy is pushed in a downward position I go weak (same with the reverse breath pattern). I assume you mean the Central Meridian. Yes, NEVER go down it, it is then an unzipping technique and people can actually install whatever they want into your weakened hypnosis field at that time, IF they know how. I don't think it's blocks. - My TCM/acupuncturist guy says as a general rule don't back trace Yin organ meridians as their function is outward, cleaning and elimination; Liver, spleen, Gall bladder, Kidneys etc. However, keep in mind that both the small intestine and the colon are primarily assimilation organs rather than elimination and therefore Yang. Assimilation and circulation organs [stomach, heart, lungs] can be traced inward. This, I repeat, is general rule but as Doc. points out you could try a quick clearing, IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. Doc. suggest liver and gall bladder are over energized. If this is the case, the qiGong protocol is to SHOUT!!! Liver collects and absorbs and reacts to all Anger/resentment, emotionally generated juices and needs to dischare them. Hollering, screaming and throwing tantrums are not socially welcomed but Yelling at the umpire works:) Singing loudly even if off key is very functional in traffic jams. Holler `til you're hoarse and that liver will cool down. rusty - kahunamaker Thursday, January 26, 2006 1:09 AM More on the REAL energy hook-ups "The normal energy flow of the Governing vessel (which is also classified as a Meridian, AND as a Radiant Circuit),is up the spine, over the head, down through the nose, into the mouth on the upper palate...">The above example is what I use. The only meridian you don't forward flush (unless you really know what you are doing) is Triple Warmer. The SIMPLE way to ignore both of us, is to do a complete meridian trace, in the forward direction twice a day. Morning and night. Then the entire LONG energy flow is energized in the direction of it's total flow (it's one long energy flow, NOT 14 meridian), which is very healthly for ALL THE BODIES ENERGIES and FLOWS, even the Radiant Circuits. > This, I repeat, is general rule but as Doc. points out you >could try a quick clearing, IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. > Doc. suggest liver and gall > bladder are over energized. > If this is the case, the qiGong protocol is to SHOUT!!! Good point. Expeling the Venom works real good, and is basically a similar drill to the one you mentioned. The heart Is a Yang organ and Inward is the forward trace. I did not mean of imply that it could be back flushed. I only meant that the Yang organs should be traced inwards. My TCM guy is really hesitant about back flushing the Yin organs. Triple warmer, I suspect, traced outwards acts as a Yin meridian because the warmers are lungs/heart, liver/kidney and dantien, so dan tien is treated as Yin thus tipping the balance, n'est pas?
