Guest guest
You know, I dispise idiots that claim such and such is true or not true, just because they have a mouth. They are too damn stupid to do the damn drills themselves, and to " KNOW " for themselves if the skill is valid or not. They read some report from an idiot, and just because they happen to agree with that idiot, they adopt his " opinon " claiming the idiot's opinion is valid research. This world is full of Randi's! This world is full of those who are prejudice against anything that they are too dumb to learn, study or do. So, they in their supreme wisdom, think that their stupidity is a measuring device of intelligence, when all it does is measure the IQ of some of the dumbest assholes around... Now, being a skeptic is okay. A skeptic will say, " I don't have enough information nor experience yet to say what is valid or not valid " . Then a skeptic will place that disbelief on a shelf behind him, and do the damn drills FROM A MENTAL PLACE OF " let's see if I can do it right " , vs, " it can't be valid and I'm wasting my time " . The fool will say, " since I can't see the sun (as they sit in a dark closet) there is NO SUN! " Just like some people BELIEVE that dowsing is NOT possible because one (very skeptical) researcher PROVED it did not work, back in the 40's. And, that idiot (Rhine) was in charge of ESP research at a major university. Even though I can successfuly dowse, and so can thousands of others throughout history, INCLUDING MOSES! Including the Kahuna. Including the Indian Shaman. Even though world famous scientists have PROVEN dowsing, and ENERGY TESTING to be valid, depending upon the person doing the test, and the person being studied. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Now some people will think I'm ranting. Well, I'm BEING REAL NICE! Some people will think I'm ranting, but I'm being real nice. website, mentaltrainingsecrets.com
Guest guest
I believe thats right For the simple reason of ROI (return on investment), doing the drills is completely worth it. Hardly any time/effort cost, and high likelihood of benefit. And from there you can decide about exploring further. It must be understood that a lot of COMPLETELY VALID research is not empirically scientific. For example, interpretive and qualitative research is often about finding meaning in people's responses to interview and survey, and cross referring these with other documentation in order to find connections. Empirical measurement is completely inappropriate where correct measuring devices have not even yet been invented. Go to China and do a RIGOROUS survey on energy therapies. Well, just use your imagination, any solid research will come up positive there. The stupidity comes from pill popping kneejerk research that says " heavy duty painkillers work and they work so well you get energy crippling side effects " . Cutting great chunks out of a body will be effective in treating certain diseases. Killing great chunks of a body with radiation will also help sometimes. Duh! Energy therapies are designed to avoid having to remove half the body or the body's energy. And they even help in the sorry circumstance of drastic surgery or heavy drug treatment. Whether you sense it or not, the spirit is a powerful entity. I don't think we are going to be able to measure spirit using electronics for quite a while yet. We may be able to measure some other subtle energies in a shorter time. But its more important to simply practice nurturing the spirit and the energies that come with it or vice versa. Its ok to say, " scientists don't know for sure " , or " scientists don't yet know how it works " . But the universe is made of more than scientists. Whole civilisations have documented the benefits of energy therapies for millenia. WE know it works! We are the practicing part of civilisation.
