And, like the last poster said, " what do you mean by 'adult' learning disabilities? " Can't do sex properly? (just a joke;-) That is REAL BROAD and nebulous as Hell. I need more information. What are you doing now? What have you done it the past? Who said so? Where do you want to go? How will you know when you get there? Is this something that you have choice over? There are always 3 things that need to be considered in achieving new skills. Here are those 3 things... 1. Do I want to learn Skill XXX?Am I motivated to learn Skill XXX? 2. Do I have an opportunity to learn Skill XXX? 3. Do I have the proper instructions in how to do Skill XXX...step by step...chunking low...to middle, to high, and then laterally, for, " what else can I do with this Skill XXX " ? If any one of the above is missing, then you probably won't learn Skill XXX. And " THAT " is NOT a learning disability. That is a lack of motivation, or as Mark and Aaron stated, " boring " . Once we have a bit of clarity, then solutions are easily forthcoming. mentaltrainingsecrets.com
