Guest guest
Recently I was at the library to pick up another book and while looking around the area spotted Bernie Siegel's book: Love, Medicine & Miracles. I highly recommend reading at least part of it. It is a good guide about what to look for in a medical doctor AND about how those patients who take responsibility for their own health and healing tend to do much better than those who put complete responsibility for health in the hands of their physician. A couple of days ago I mentioned to my daughter that my LDL (bad) cholesterol had gone down close to 30 points in about 8 months after I started eating coconut oil. Her response was she would ask her doctor. I told her he would not like it since it is oil and that I had told my doctor what I was going to do rather than ask him. It was an experiment I made willingly that did have good results. My doctor did not try to dissuade me or get angry. Maybe I have a " keeper " . In addition the HDL (good) cholesterol went up and triglycerides (bad) went down. Mary
