Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions about kinesthetic learners. I have a friend at work who has a son who seems to be very kinesthetic and is having trouble at school. What are some resources that would help him learn faster? Are there any good resources that would help his parents help him? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. - Joe Wadsworth
Guest guest
hi Joe I'm not really an expert in this field, but it may be helpful to do a search (Google for example) for Educational Kinesiology. I know that this often assists students with unique learning styles to adapt to an ordinary classroom context. Unfortunately modern education seems to favor auditory and visual learning styles rather than kinesthetic learning. You may also check out the writing of Michael Grinder (brother of John Grinder, the co-founder of NLP). He seems to specialize on the use of NLP in education. Kind regards Johan Joe Wadsworth wrote: Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions about kinesthetic learners. Guest guest
Joe, I cannot say for sure yet I would bet that holding the forehead neurovascular points will help a lot. I know when Donna Eden held mine in the demonstration earlier this year the event I was thinking about lost its charge in seconds. It brings the blood to the brain so we can think better. I know people can be trained to use the other modalities more like Doc was doing in the workshop when he worked with increasing visual with a couple of people. You might want to review those DVD's for ideas. According to Don Blackerby, an NLP trainer and former teacher, it is faster and easier to learn using visual mode. Dr. Blackerby has DVD's for increasing visual accessing skills. If there is a good NLP practitioner in your area, the parents might contact them.
