The only connection George has with Huna is through Tad James, Kiaina' auaomaikalani. George is Hula, and NOT Kahuna, nor Huna. (You need some definitions?) George is a Hula master. And George is the one that taught (sort of) Tad and Ardie to chant Hawaiian. George's disciple, A-tu-a, also helped. The best chanter I've ever heard is BIG JOHN. Hopefully he's still alive and ticking. Tom told me that he went over there and trained a bit with him about 3 years ago. Remember that Max founded and named Huna. The Hawaiians DID NOT! When you talk with a native Hawaiian, and say you know Huna, they don't have a clue to what you are referring to. The Kahuna had a different name for what they did. One of those names is ho'o mana mana. > Where do your teaching in Huna come from? From what lineage? There is only ONE VALID lineage of Huna. And here it is. Our lineage is from Max Freedom Long, his teachings and his writting. Then from his replacement, Dr. Otha Wingo. Max founded and named Huna. Huna is Max's conception. Max did the experimentation and devised the drills that became Huna. We are connected with the teachings of a Hawaiian lineage from one of the islands of Hawaii. Molokai. I have those papers around somewhere. I am curious about your presuppositions. Serge King got his Huna from Dr. Otha, and the writtings of Max. Then Serge, who is a very good writer, studied a bit, and came up with some neat stuff, that he ALSO CALLED HUNA, but is NOT the Huna of Max. Does Serge's stuff work? If it does, that's what counts. Tad James has studied the writtings of Max. Much of Tad's teaching is a revamped NLP, which is okay, since that does work. Some of Tad's teachings come from a person's writtings in the 1850's. I've seen them. Does Tad's stuff work? It if does, that's what counts. Now are you talking about peripheral teachings? If so, that is a much bigger list and a very different story. > Anele >
