If you have more than one burn, try aloe on one and honey on the other to test the. I've been fooling around with honey and am finding it very effective. I last used it on a small burn on the skin. Healing seemed much quicker than usual. lapapu

I normally " gently " massage DMSO into the burn....then it absorbs the DMSO, and I do it again and again until it will not absorb anymore. Normally scabbed the next day. Then healed in about 3 days, with no scaring. If you don't have DMSO, then get Castor oil. Massage it in under a heat lamp. Then wrap with wool flannel. Again, a bit messy, but healing is quick and painless. Also works for internal healing. But wait! There's more, just NOT right now;-)
Guest guest
Doc - I remember reading an Edgar Casey book when I was about 20 years old. He recommended cider vinegar for burns. (caused by fire/heat vs rope) -- if I remember correctly. I used to burn myself on the roll oven at a restaurant I worked at back then (which is why I remember the cider vinegar ). The vinegar worked -- but so did tomatoes. I used to put a tomato on the burn....
