Guest guest
Welcome to the list, Betty, I highly recommend the work of Donna Eden (www.innersource.net). Her book " Energy Medicine " is great but might overwhelm at first since it is so dense with information. You might want to start with getting Donna's Energy Medicine Kit - it's a great learning tool to help you begin using a Daily Energy Routine. The kit includes a mini-book, cards documenting many energy exercises, a DVD showing you elements of a daily routine, a CD that verbally walks you thru the exercises, and a glass crystal that can be used for many things (including clearing your chakras, spinning at the ends of your meridians to clear energetic debris, etc.). BTW, you can usually find the Energy Medicine Kit for a much lower price than retail on Ebay. To get you started, there are a few video excerpts of Donna available online: Quick Review of Donna Eden's 5 minute Energy Medicine Routine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB1H7jFsJME The 5 minute routine review and more Donna Eden excerpts available on Google Video http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=%22Donna+Eden%22 For a health care worker, I think the Zip Up exercise and Separating Heaven and Earth exercises would be especially good for you. Hope this helps, MichelleH betty_starbuckle (AT) yaho (DOT) .. Guest guest
Donna Eden and David Feinstein will be in the San Francisco Bay area for a workshop July 6, 7 & 8 held through Conference Works. I don't know if they still have room. If you are interested you can check it out here: http://www.innersource.net/classes_training/classes_training_main_em.htm I will be attending myself and am looking forward to going. Guest guest
Thanks , i have this book, and as you say it is very dense.Unfortunately I am in australia and so cannot attend the work shop. I do have a question though , as i find that when i do the wayne cook posture nothing happens for me. I find the book a little dififcult to understand in terms of what you are supposed to do wiht your hands after you have done the stretching of your legs. thanks

Guest guest
Hi Ada, I too have a hard time following written directions re: body movement. That's why I recommend getting Donna's Energy Medicine Kit and/or Energy Medicine DVDs: http://www.innersource.net/innersource_catalog.htm BTW, some people (including me) feel more from an alternate exercise to the Wayne Cook, some call it the Tibetan Prayer Pose or Cook's Hookup (aka the hand pretzel). It's also easier to do this exercise in many situations. See http://www.feelingfree.net/batteryproblems/overcharge.htm for photos and instructions. Donna also shows this alternative on the Energy Kit DVD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB1H7jFsJME Hope this helps, MichelleH On Behalf Of ada iye Thanks , i have this book, and as you say it is very dense.Unfortunately I am in australia and so cannot attend the work shop.
