Guest guest
Today " Blacky " died. Actually we had her " put away " . She was 19 years old (blind for the past 3 years) which is real, real old for a cat. Many people here know " old Blacky " because they've seen her when they've come up for a barbecue after one of my Back Woods Healing Energy Intensives, or my Kahuna ESP Intensives. My family came back from a weekend of camping and I went to Blacky and noticed she couldn't get out of her cat-bed, but she was sure trying hard. Moving all four legs, like the unconscious movements of a dog attempting to swim. I helped her to her feet. No coordination in her left side, front side or back side. A partial stroke. I helped her to the water, but she wouldn't drink. I did put some water on my finger and put it to her mouth. She did lick the water off the finger. But would take no food. So we went to the vet, got his expertise then had his assistance in helping Blacky cross-over quickly and painlessly. My wife walked out of the room crying. So after we (the vet and I) finished helping Blacky I went out and helped my wife with her grief. I taught her about the stomach point's right under both eyes. I had her tap those points about 15 times and she quit crying. It's neat the things that healing energies, energy psychology, Donna Eden, and Gary Craig have taught me. Thanks to all the great healers out there. ©
Guest guest
My sympathies for your loss. It's a tough feeling. My cat died a few years ago. He was always a good little ally to have when the chips were down. Good teacher too. --Jeff , " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001 wrote: > > Today " Blacky " died. Actually we had her " put away " . Guest guest
Doc, I know you will all miss Blacky. I did get to meet her briefly last summer and she was not in very good condition then. Lynn is fortunate that you were able to help her with her grief. The Feldenkrais practitioner I work with who studies TCM said those 2 points under the eyes are unimportant. It looks like importance is in the eye of the beholder, huh? When your post came through, I thought about the really neat cat next door. Even though she is not mine I know I would miss her if something happened. She is so friendly and approachable. Guest guest
Doc, I am sorry for your loss. I had two of my favorite cats die last year. with a month of each other. And I now have a cat not as old as yours but close. She has been deaf for a couple of years but I can tell she is getting older all the time but she is still going. I will keep in mind your drill. Thanks. Diane healingenergies- essentialskills , " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001 wrote: > > Today " Blacky " died. Actually we had her " put away " . Guest guest
Hi Doc, You also have my sympathies from someone who really loves cats ( and most animals ) Good animals are such an Amazing part of life for those of us who do like them. I had a cat when I was a kid and I named him Blacky. I was a lion tamer when I was 8 and when things got really bad me and Blacky considered leaving for the circus. We never actually did yet he was a GREAT friend in a dysfunctional family. Since then besides a few dogs I have enjoyed many cats over the years including 2 sisters who lived to be 21 and 23 years. One had to be helped along or "put away" because she seemed to be suffering and the sister who lived longer just passed away on her own. This was a few years ago and I still miss them, although I feel they are around in spirit. Also, I am an only child and were such great cats they they became a part of the family as if they WERE my sisters ( puppy dog cats because they were warmer and more loving then the average cat and yet still independent like felines ) It hurts and eventually you get to remember all the BEST TIMES you shared with them and it feels much, much better.
