Guest guest
How are you spinning the magnet only clockwise and then only counter clockwise? By sliding the fingers back and forth over the string to make the magnet spin back and forth clockwise and counter clockwise all with one movement I can stay very close and follow the specific meridian path that way. The back and forth motion of the magnet/crystal gets the energy moving, I think of a washing machine agitator stirring up the energy as I move along the meridian, clearing up stagnant old energy and rinsing with clean new energy. Regarding the new magnet you have, in a recent Donna Eden Energy Medicine class I attended we were told that a stronger magnet isn't necessarily better. Though I've yet to test that, which Donna always suggests. There's always someone out there who is an exception. I know I can affect a compass from a few feet away with my cheap little donut magnet, and that the further away you are the weaker and more spread out the effect, the closer the more focused the effect of the magnet. So, best way to find out how your magnets compare is to energy test their effects on you or some other willing subject. Maybe test at different distances from the meridian and test the nearby meridians to see if they were affected too. How did you set up the test to measure and determine that magnets are 5 to 7 times more powerful than tracing meridians or the hand alone? I'd like to see if I can duplicate the results. What do you mean by " seed " the meridian? Some additional things to consider: Donna Eden suggests before using magnets or crystals always energy test since some people are highly sensitive to them and the effects may not be beneficial for them. Our energies and sensitivity can change from day to day. Hands, crystals and magnets all work, just test first and find out what works best beforehand for optimized results. The good news is that if you do test weak she does have exercises you can do to overcome your sensitivity to magnets. I learned them in an Eden Energy Medicine class I just came back from and am teaching to my study group. It's very rare that the effect of a hand tests weak for someone, though we were told that some people's energy fields aren't compatible when they come in contact with each other. So that's something worth considering. Having someone working on you who's homolateral or has scrambled energies or reversed polarity probably isn't going to do much for anyone. So is a good idea to balance our own energies before working on someone, if nothing else to keep our own field strong. Doing certain energy drills regularly to keep energies in tune also results in hands that can be very powerful energy tools, and if you don't use it you lose it, so I practice with my hands too. The benefit is that I have my hands with me 24/7 and my body gets to know what it is I'm training my hands to do. I'm establishing a habit, and now often just with intention I can get the energy to go and do what I want it to. Crystals and hands can be used the same way that magnets can and hands have a north and south side, as does every part of the body. Have fun and thanks for the thought-provoking questions. Other ideas welcome. Lori , phornepax wrote: > > I use spinning magnets to strengthen my Spleen Meridian during my > daily routine. Hi Lori, Thanks to you and Anthony for sharing in this thread. I remember reading about the hands and their polarity some time ago. At the time it didn't make much of an impression on me as I've always used my palms for energy work. Now that I think of it, there are times when it seemed more natural to place the back of my hand on my forehead. I hadn't given this much thought as to why. It does bring up some interesting possibilities. I am wondering, would the same admonitions apply when using the back of the hand as when using the south side of a magnet? Since the magnetic field of the hand is not as strong, I think it would make this a safer choice in some instances. On the other hand, considering the efficacy of homeopathics and their relative strength compared to their source, maybe this isn't so. Perhaps they're equally effective. Sometimes I envy that " fool " who " rushes in where angels fear to tread. " If you teach as clearly as you write, your study group is quite fortunate. I always enjoy your contributions. Thanks again' barb(bbtried)
Guest guest
I am magnet sensitive, sometimes more sometimes less. It is not in my client's best interest for me to use magnets on them when I am sensitive to them. I have never had trouble using my hands for polarity. I wonder if this might also extend to other energy forms. E.g., I am also sensitive to color and I know many who are sensitive to crystals or stones. As a person who has used a pendulum in dowsing for some time, I use a pendulum instead of a magnet often to clear chakras or trace meridians. Of course, I will test myself and the client for the congruence with the pendulum (I have several, made of different materials). When using the pendulum, I actually do a circling in one direction for clearing and then the other direction for restoring (can't think of a perfect word). There are so many ways to do this right if your intention is clear. ;-0 Sue "Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Guest guest
Hi Barb, You're welcome! When it comes to Energy Medicine I still feel like it's a foreign language to me, the more I use it the more fluent I become. For people like Donna it seems to be her native language. Yep, the significance of polarity, yin & yang, etc., etc., never registered with me either until I started getting out and practicing the principles of energy medicine and directly noticing the effects on me and others. In Donna's book she states that the north side of a magnet gives a weak energy test the south side gives a strong energy test. So, if you know how to do the polarity test with the hand that Donna teaches, and the energies are running correctly, you can determine which side of your hand is north and which is south. Sincerely, Lori , " bbtried " <bbtried wrote: > > > > Crystals and hands can be used the same way that magnets can and hands > > have a north and south side, as does every part of the body. > > Hi Lori, > > Thanks to you and Anthony for sharing in this thread. Guest guest
As far as I am aware the science shows that we all have the same polarity in our hands. The front of the left hand and the back of the right hand have a reducing effect, good for reducing swelling, rheumatics etc, while the right hand and back of the left hand have a stimulating effect, use with caution.
