I'm 35 myself. And even thou I do Donna Edens energy drill (plus some extras like the care bear etc) every day, I seem not to heal that well. Small scratches are left on my skin for weeks, sometimes even months. So I'm going to take the vitamine C now everyday, and look for improvements. Are there things I need to take care of to increase my healing capacities even more (apart from having enough sleep, eating healthy food, meditation, Donna Edens Energy drill, taking the vitamine C)? Guest guest
Doc's right on about the vitamin C. You're wise to follow his advice. I do(most of the time.) I also share this problem with healing. I've found that I need to take a separate zinc supplement even though there is some in my multiple. If I slack off, I can see the difference within a week or so. You might want to test to see if you need it too. If so there are a lot of brands, so test to see which is best for you. I take mine with 500 mg. of vitamin C once a day. (the " once a day " is for the zinc not the vitamin C.) barb ______________________________\ ____ Looking for a deal? Guest guest
Hi Doc, For athletes you stated in the past that they need to take much more Vit C intake than no athletes. If they are in their 20s and are full time athletes (professional) will they typically notice the difference say in terms of healing quicker, or staying healthier? What resources can you recommend specifically for athletes and vitamins for peak performance? Thanks Doc, Michael. healingenergies- essentialskills , " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001 wrote: *** Loads snipped *** > On a personal note, I normally take 1.5 g in the am, a multiple > vitamin (with Vit C in it) during the noon time feed, and another 1.5 > g in the pm, mixed in with my bottled green tea. > > If I stay on that schedule, my knees feel very good. > > If I get busy and just neglect it for a week, my knees get very > painful and my flexibility declines almost to nil. > > So I start taking it again and 1 week later all pain is gone. > > It's cheap.
