Why do people like to suffer before they heal themselves?

The other day, my knee was in pain.

I've been doing the treadmill, and my legs are tight because I've been too lazy

to stretch correctly before and after.

Well, so I went almost all day with a sore knee, going around, doing stuff, and

then stretching my leg every now and then to ease the tension in my leg.

But my knee was in agony.

Then when I was in Goodwill looking at books, I got the bright idea that I wish

I was at Doc's so I could ask him what the heck to do for my knee.

As soon as I thought it, I saw Doc in a specific location, and he looked

disgusted.

I " asked " him " wtf? " and he " said " something to the effect of " Well if you were

smart enough to know how to FIX it, how would you? "

THEN(after suffering with a sore knee all damn day), I remembered one of the

several drills Doc taught me to heal knee pain.

So I did it.

Then I noticed I was still favoring the knee that USED to be sore and was

limping around.

So I decided there wasn't any point in looking like a cripple limping around

when I didn't have to...

Then it occurred to me I was still focused on " not limping, " so I said, Welll

what do I want to do instead?

I know: How about stand up straight and walk correctly with the energies

flowing like they're supposed to.

So I did.

I was still annoyed that I walked around all damn day with a sore knee when I

could have fixed it right away.

So I decided to focus on what I want instead of what I screwed up.

Heck, I had completely forgotten about it, until I just remembered now to post

it.

Thanks for the drills, Doc! Even though I've done the knee drills before, I was

still amazed at how quickly I was able to walk normal and feel good at the same

time.
