Guest guest
I am currently re-taking the basic NLP Practitioner course in San Rafael, CA. We discussed the possibility of someone deliberately, even if unconsciously, changing their position to break rapport. Today it is possible that happened to me. My Feldenkrais teacher has had much trauma in her life from both parents and possibly others. She sits facing the students (me) and I noticed she had her left knee over her right. I mirrored her crossing partially and crossed my right leg over my left but not sticking out over the knee like she was doing. It was not long at all that she uncrossed her leg. I repeated the above process a bit later when she again crossed her knee like before. I think the movement came even sooner this time and she put both her feet on the floor. Was she deliberately, possibly unconsciously, breaking rapport? Maybe yes. Maybe no. I will play with it more later. It was interesting, though.
