Would then suggest trying say 1 ox (30 g) tuna, fresh from the seafood merchant, lightly grilled for 2 minutes on a side and eaten. ======================== Good Health & Long Life, Greg Watson, http://optimalhealth.cia.com.au gowatson USDA database (food breakdown) http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/ PubMed (research papers) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi DWIDP (nutrient analysis) http://www.walford.com/dwdemo/dw2b63demo.exe Patch file for above http://www.walford.com/download/dwidp67u.exe KIM (omega analysis) http://ods.od.nih.gov/eicosanoids/KIM_Install.exe

Hi Marianne, Really fresh fish has little smell except for a slight sea smell. Try baking it in several layers of foil, with virgin coconut oil. ======================== Good Health & Long Life, Greg Watson, http://optimalhealth.cia.com.au gowatson USDA database (food breakdown) http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/ PubMed (research papers) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi DWIDP (nutrient analysis) http://www.walford.com/dwdemo/dw2b63demo.exe Patch file for above http://www.walford.com/download/dwidp67u.exe KIM (omega analysis) http://ods.od.nih.gov/eicosanoids/KIM_Install.exe

Guest guest
--- Jean, I have found that the low-sodium tuna is usually msg free. Labeling can be eighty percent sodium free. Anything that is not 100% sodium free usually has the additives. Also, there is a brand that is imported from Thailand,...I believe it is...that is just the bluefin tuna and water. Believe me I searched for it! Guest guest
Check out this website for homeopathic information: http://www.homeoint.org/books/boericmm/ Lisa - nkbaker2001 herbal remedies Monday, April 07, 2003 5:05 PM [herbal remedies] Allergies Dear "R" Homeopathic remedies work wonderful on allergies, it's what I use. Their very smyptom specific tho. Many health food stores carry homeopathic remedies. They also carry herbal remedies for allergies. I think if you switch to these instead of things like Claritan, which really does nothing to address your allergies, just masks them, you'll get a much better result. If you live someplace that has a Borders or a Barnes and Nobel, you can go in there and get a book on how to use homeopathic formulas. You don't have to buy it unless you want to, but you can sit and go through a book and get some idea about the subject. If you have a health food store with a knowledgeable person, they can also walk you threw a lot of this.Kathe
Guest guest
I too had those symptoms many years ago. From a huge effort of research and trial & error, here is what I found works for me. 1- stop eating anything that has hydroginated oils. This (for me) was the best thing I ever learned. 2- Local bee pollin taken REGULARLY. Start off with very small amounts. 3- cut out sugar - other than local, unpasteurized honey (if you heat it - you've ruined it) 4- stay away from processed foods. 5- stay away from " normal " breads and other foods that have white flour. 6 - never drink carbonated drinks. 7 - eat whole foods Before I came to rely on the above, I tried EVERYTHING. Shots, pills, herbs, homeopathic remedies, etc. Many things worked somewhat for a while, but the only thing that keeps me free of the Alergies is to follow what I wrote above. -hope this may be of some help.-david herbal remedies , " R " <cubana_r> wrote: > HI: > I SUFFER FROM ALLERGIES ALMOST EVERYDAY. Guest guest
sorry i can't be of more help--i'm not sure what would help w/that cough w/o first really reducing the mucous. yogi tea makes a throat comfort tea that works well to sooth sore throats. also maybe just go to a health food store and get a homeopathic cough syrup? i agree that moving isn't really the answer but more so b/c i think if someone is prone to allergies they will develop new ones to whatever surrounds them...so the key is getting your body healthy so there are no more allergies. lots of raw garlic should help cut down the mucous too--this just seems key since whatever you do for the cough is going to be so fleeting if you still have the mucous. maybe someone else on the list will have some better ideas for you though. good luck. luv laura herbal remedies , " sutu " <trnr4@f...> wrote: > hi laura, > thanks for the quick response. i am wondering how to stop the cough which is all in the throat from the irritation. nothing seems to be a quick natural remedy till i can get the cleansing done. > sue > p.s. i know about the mucous foods etc. i have been going through this for 20-30 yrs. actually but i am trying to get to a natural healing state. moving out of the area is not a question right now and then again, where can one move to get away from pollen. even the desert has pollen from people bringing in vegetation for so many years. > > - > laura_e25 > herbal remedies > Thursday, July 24, 2003 11:21 AM > [herbal remedies] Re: allergies > > > hey...i'll chime in b/c i too have allergies but i'm sure that more > advice can be offered by others. i would suggest taking the total > tonic that is in the files, some other immune booster (my > understanding is that allergies are caused by a faulty immune system) > so maybe alternate astragulus and echinacea and i have also had good > luck cutting down on symtpoms from nettle (leaf not root). i've been > buying it dry and making tea but you could also make a tincture. > > besides this cut down on muscous forming foods (dairy, refined sugar, > wheat--think this only really effects some people) and try to eat > mostly non-processed fresh foods--mostly fruits and veggies > > you should also probably do a cleanse a.s.a.p. Symptoms include swelling and pimple like marks similar to a bee sting. I am getting these symptoms all over my body including palms, soul of feet, and face. I first used apple cider vinegar and natural bite balm which have relieved the urge to itch. Using a homoeopathic tick remedy appears to have kicked in my natural healing. Does anyone have some suggestions as to what treatments may be helpful ? Thanks Crystal

If it was there, then it would probably have been VERY itchy by the time you noticed it. What you have to be careful to avoid, is leaving the head in there if you try to remove the tick. It could continue to cause irritation. The best way I have found, is to put a small drop of pyrethrum garden spray on the tick. It is fairly benign to humans, but will kill the tick stone dead in a couple of seconds. Then just forget about it and the whole lot will fall out in a day or two. I have not had a chance to use it on an alergy yet, but I would guess that using the sedating points for the Triple Energiser Meridian might help ( " Energy Medicine " page 122) Ticks climb anything (grass, trees, buildings) so as to drop onto their targets, so sitting under a tree to eat lunch can be risky. Insect repellent can help deter them. Petr Burger.
Guest guest
Hi Crystal, You might want to try pulling the toxins out of the body using a counter-clockwise motion of your hand over the area of the tick bit. You are going to want to shake off your hands whenever you feel like they have accumulated " gunk " . When you feel you have cleared the area, close with putting in fresh, healing energy with a clockwise motion of your hand.
