Guest guest
What I have found is a combination of calcium magnesium and zinc. They work together and are the best solution I have found. 1 part magnesium to 2 parts calcium and then the rda of zinc. www.puritanspride.com has several premixed cal/mag/zinc blends that are good. Make sure if you get tablets to crush them in a mortar and pestle or a coffee grinder. Compressed tablets are too hard and too tightly compressed for our systems to dissolve them before they get to the other end. I mix the powder into a single serving container of pudding or applesauce. HTH Blessings Sarah-Ann
Guest guest
Vit D3 can easily be taken 1 or 2000 IU per day. Scientists are increasing its level bec it is crucial not just for bones but also for hormone production. ALSO => BORON min 3mg/day. So too other trace minerals. These must be taken with adequate amounts of calcium and magnesium, manganese phospherous pottasium etc, Minimum quantities of calcium is 1500/day and min magnesium 400/day. Since these are difficult to absorb properly, hi quality brands are important. So a good chelated mineral tablet should be used and a good liquid supplement too. Exercise YOU must do weight training to prevent bose loss with the emphasis on strenuous workoouts. The body remodells itself and without the exercise .... YOU must have a good trainer with specialized machines NEVER USE loose weights. ALSO, there are protocols using electro stimulation which heals bone loss as well as PEMF pulsed electro magnetic frequencies both can speed up healing. Look for someone using an ACUTRON mnetor or ONDAMED (ondamed.net) they both have developed protocols for healing osteo arthritis.
