Guest guest
hi all, just wondering if anyone can tell me what I experienced during my meditation today. I was in the middle of a self-healing, feeling very relaxed and deep within myself when all of a sudden the crown of my head started to feel very heavy and as if there was a weight inside of it that was off balance and cause my head to tilt to the left. this sensation was impossible to fight and i found myself tilting my head to the side. but that wasn't the end of it, in fact once my head was resting on my left shoulder, this... force if you could call it that, started pulling my head back and turning it into a position where i was looking back over my left shoulder. I opened my eyes but there was nothing there. I had to end my meditation early because the sensation just wouldn't stop and i was starting to feel quite uncomfortable under the weight of the pressure on my head. has anyone ever experienced anything like this? or does anyone know what i experienced? it wasn't a frightening experience, just a bit uncomfortable that's all. Guest guest
I also practice healing and energy meditation. During my meditations, I sometimes find my body (mainly my spine) moving into what I would call a more improved alignment. I have always attributed my spinal movements in meditation to kundalini moving in my body. When you meditate, are you aware of your chakras opening to the energy? Could you be experiencing a block in your crown chakra causing the unnatural head movements? Guest guest
Sounds like it could either be a slight blockage or imbalance or you’re just noticing a different energy for the first time. I would suggest doing neck stretches, clearing your chakras and meridians, and doing the crown pull before meditating and running energy. If you feel those sensations again while meditating you can also stop for a minute and do any of the above. Those drills are good for balancing energy and clearing any blockages you may have. Also making sure you’re in a good/calm/happy emotional state tends to help you have a safer and more comfortable energy meditation experience (according to the Taoists anyway...).
